Status: 28.06.2026
This End-User License Agreement ("License Agreement") governs the acquisition and use of digital STL files and other digital 3D model files through the Shopify store of Maximilian Schäfer / Schäfer Tech ("Licensor").
By purchasing, downloading, or using the files, the buyer ("Licensee") agrees to the terms and conditions below.
1. Subject of the Agreement
The subject of this agreement is the provision of digital STL files and, if applicable, other associated digital content for private use.
No sale of ownership rights to the files or designs takes place. The Licensee receives solely a limited, non-transferable right of use in accordance with this agreement.
2. Grant of License
The Licensor grants the Licensee a:
- simple,
- non-exclusive,
- non-transferable,
- non-sublicensable
license for the exclusive private use of the acquired files.
Use is permitted exclusively for personal, non-commercial purposes.
3. Prohibited Uses
The Licensee is particularly prohibited from:

3.3 Reproduction
Reproduction of the files beyond the backup copy required for private use is prohibited.
3.4 Editing and Derivative Works
It is prohibited to:
- modify the files,
- remix them,
- adapt them,

Even altered or partially altered models may not be sold, published, or distributed.
4. Intellectual Property
All copyrights, usage rights, trademark rights, design rights, and other intellectual property rights remain exclusively with the Licensor.
The acquisition of the files does not constitute any transfer of ownership or intellectual property rights.
5. No Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
For digital products, the statutory right of withdrawal according to § 356 para. 5 BGB expires at the beginning of the performance of the contract, after:
- the buyer has expressly agreed that the performance of the contract begins before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and
- the buyer has confirmed that by this consent they lose their right of withdrawal.
Upon completion of the download, there are therefore no claims for withdrawal, return, exchange, or refund.

The Licensor does not guarantee that:
- the files are error-free,
- the files are suitable for a specific purpose,

7. Buyer's Technical Responsibility
The buyer is solely responsible for:
- choosing suitable printing settings,
- observing safety regulations,
- operating machines correctly,
- using materials properly,
- checking the models before use.
The Licensor assumes no responsibility for misapplications or improper use.
8. Violation of License Terms
In case of violations of this agreement, the license expires automatically and immediately.

11. Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
